Reel Counter does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or any third party.

What the app does

Reel Counter uses Android’s Accessibility Service to detect when you scroll through Reels (Instagram) or Shorts (YouTube), purely to display a live count and daily history on your own device.

Data storage

All counts, history, and settings are stored locally on your device only, using standard Android app storage. Nothing is uploaded, synced, or shared with us or anyone else.

Permissions used

• Accessibility Service: used only to detect scroll events within Instagram and YouTube. The app does not read, store, or transmit the content of what you view.
• Display over other apps: used only to show the live counter overlay.
• Notifications: used only to alert you when you cross your chosen reel threshold.

Third-party services

This app does not use analytics, ads, or third-party tracking of any kind.
